Professionally, Soror Grove has cultivated an impressive career in Human Resources, with a focus on transforming organizations within the Talent Acquisition space. She is currently a Senior Manager with a technology company in Research Triangle Park, NC. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Interfaith Food Shuttle, a regional non-profit focused on eradicating food instability. Phaedra was also appointed to the Board of Visitors at her alma mater and currently serves on the Ivy Community Service Foundation Board of Directors, the 501c3 arm supporting her chapter. Leading by example, Soror Phaedra has been the top fundraiser for this Foundation over the past 6 years, raising well over $10,000.

Smith County Commissioner JoAnn Hampton has demonstrated a long history of public service in East Texas. She served as a Tyler City Council Member for six years and Mayor Pro Tem for one year. She is the first African-American female to serve on the Smith County Commissioners Court and the first African-American female to serve as chairperson and executive board member for the East Texas Council of Governments. Commissioner Hampton took office as County Commissioner for Precinct 4 on January 1, 2003. She is now in her fourth term and serves as the voice of the county's northwest district. Commissioner Hampton is a recipient of the 2014 Unsung Hero Award from the Winners Circle Peer Support Network of Texas and is a member of the Star of Bethlehem Court #175, Heroines of Jericho, and the Gamma Omicron Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a proud graduate of Texas College in Tyler, Texas.
