First African American woman to receive the Master of Divinity degree and a Teaching Certificate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, MA (1970). This pioneer became the first black female to be ordained at Boston's historic 12th Baptist Church (November 1976); First black Coordinator of Urban Ministries for the Evangelistic Association of New England (1976 - 1979). First African American female Contract Compliance Officer for the newly created Boston Water and Sewer Commission.(1977).
