First African American woman appointed an Officer by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Missouri (1978). First African American female elected Chairman of the Board of Governors of St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital (2015). First African American and first female to Chair the Board of the Better Business Bureau of the Mid South (2007-2008). This pioneering Soror is currently the regional executive of the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, which includes western Tennessee, northern Mississippi and eastern Arkansas. She is the current International Parliamentarian of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc.
