Advocated on behalf of the citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland to save a public transportation route in her neighborhood (2005 & 2009). Again she testified before the Division of Transit Services and the Montgomery County Council to save the service (2009 & 2010). The route was also expanded to make it possible for riders to get to a newly opened hospital (2014).
