First African American woman to serve as a Registered Lobbyist in Washington, DC. This pioneer served as Legislative Representative of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Lobbyist for the National Non-Partisan Council. She was successful in lobbying for the integration of Black women in the Armed Forces. She also was a Consultant to President Franklin D. Roosevelt as a Monitor in the United States Employment Services. She also was a Consultant for Minorities in the United States Employment Service.(1946-1954).
