Shantelle Jenkins has been accepted into the American Association of Community Colleges NCBAA Leadership Development Institute. Soror Shantelle will be one of 25 mid-level community college administrators selected from across the country to participate in the institute. LDI prepares African Americans in community colleges for leadership roles to insure that the pipeline to executive-level positions remains fluid. Soror Shantelle was also a national finalist for the LDI Scholars Fellowship awarded to the institute participant who demonstrates an understanding of the community college mission and the students it serves, exemplary service in the community college setting, and has made progressive advancement toward leader-ship positions in the community college. Soror Shantelle is the 2015 LDI Fellow and received the national merit scholarship which includes full tuition, books and LDI associated fees.
