Courtney is a proud native of Tallahassee, Florida and a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minor in Communications. While at Florida State University, Courtney served as a Student Senator with the Student Government Association and Secretary of the National Council of Negro Women. Upon graduation Courtney was initiated into the Delta Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. This spring, Courtney will be serving in the office of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson.
